Market proposals
Anyone can propose a new market with a single question. The AI turns the question into a market draft. Once you confirm it, the market trades like any other, and after it closes the AI resolves it.
#How it works
- Ask — on the proposal screen, write a question that can be answered yes or no, or by picking one of several possible answers.
- AI draft — three models in four roles gather evidence and check each other to produce a draft (usually 2–3 minutes): the question, outcomes, trading close, resolution date and resolution criteria.
- Review and revise — if the draft is not what you meant, you can send one revision request. If you do not like it, discard it.
- Confirm — on-chain registration takes 1–2 minutes.
- Trading opens — 10 minutes after you confirm. Until then the market page shows "Market Pending".
#Multiple-choice markets
When a question has several possible answers ("Which club will win…?"), the AI drafts a multiple-choice market instead of a yes/no one.
- It lists 3 to 10 choices, and exactly one of them wins.
- When every possible answer cannot be listed, the last choice is Other, which wins if the result is none of the named choices.
- To add, drop or rename a choice, say so in your revision request.
#Languages
Ask in Korean, English or Chinese and the market is written in that language. A question in any other language becomes an English market.
#Market image
While drafting, the AI looks for a picture of the market's topic on openly licensed sources (Wikimedia Commons, Flickr through Openverse) and shows it on the draft. Only licences that allow commercial use are taken, and the photo's author, licence and source are credited on the draft and on the market page. When nothing fits, the market shows its category's default image; the team replaces an image on request. A revision request can also change what the photo shows (for example, "use a photo of Harry Kane").
#Market video
Once you confirm a market, the AI searches public video platforms for a video about your question and attaches it. It picks YouTube and TikTok videos first, since they play right in the app, and attaches one from another platform such as Instagram or X only when none of those matches.
- Only a video that closely matches the topic is attached. Popularity or recency alone never qualifies one.
- If nothing matches, the market keeps its image (the drafted photo, or its category's default) — so some markets have a video and others don't.
- Once a video is attached, it is shown instead of the photo.
- The video may appear a little after you confirm rather than right away.
- Videos play in their original platform's player and are never used as evidence for the resolution.
#Daily proposal limit
How many markets you can propose a day is set by your fee tier — the same tier as the fee discounts, based on the fees you actually paid as a taker over the last 30 days.
| Tier | 30-day fees paid | Proposals a day |
|---|---|---|
| T0 | under $10 | 1 |
| T1 | $10+ | 1 |
| T2 | $50+ | 2 |
| T3 | $250+ | 3 |
| T4 | $1,000+ | 4 |
For now, T0 can propose one market a day too. This may change as we adjust the service.
- The count resets every day at UTC midnight.
- Revision requests do not count.
- A proposal that failed because the AI service never received it does not count.
- When your tier changes, your limit changes with it; proposals already made that day still count.
- Your remaining proposals show at the top of the proposal screen and on the fee tier card in your profile.
