User wallet

Your wallet on Conviction is a single address. Regardless of how you sign in (email, social, or external wallet), the wallet used for trading is created for you automatically by Dynamic WaaS (Wallet-as-a-Service). Your balance, positions, and trades all belong to this one address.

Even if you sign in with an external wallet (MetaMask, etc.), that wallet is used only for sign-in (identity verification). Holding assets and trading always happen in this newly created single-address wallet.

#What's good about it

  • Email/social sign-in — You can start without a seed phrase. The keys are kept in a secure environment and can't be used by anyone without your own sign-in.
  • No gas — Conviction covers network fees, so you don't need to hold any BNB.
  • Effortless trading — Trade setup (approval) and trading are handled in a single action.

#Key backup and recovery

Your trading wallet is securely managed by Dynamic WaaS, and the keys can only be used with your own sign-in. Signing back in with the same method recovers the same trading wallet.

Sign-in methodHow to recover
Email / socialSign back in with the same account to recover the same trading wallet.
External walletReconnect the same external wallet to recover the same trading wallet. (The external wallet is a sign-in method, so keep its seed phrase safe yourself.)

#Export and safekeep your private key

Your trading wallet is non-custodial — you can export its private key at any time and keep your own copy. We recommend doing this once, as a safeguard, no matter how you signed in.

  1. Open the wallet panel and tap Export.
  2. Follow the reveal screen to view your private key.
  3. Save it offline, somewhere only you can reach — a password manager or a written backup. Never paste it into a website, chat, or email.

It works the same for every sign-in method (email, social, or external wallet): the exported key belongs to your single trading address. With it you hold a fully self-custodial backup — you can import it into any standard wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, and others) on BNB Smart Chain and control your funds directly, even independently of Conviction.

Whoever holds this key controls the funds. Keep it private and never share it — not even with someone claiming to be Conviction support.

#Frequently asked questions

  • If I sign in with an external wallet, do I trade with that wallet? No. The external wallet is used only for sign-in (identity verification); trading happens in a separate single-address wallet created by Dynamic WaaS.

  • Can I take my private key with me? Yes — export it from the wallet panel and store it offline. With that key you can control your trading address in any standard wallet, independently of Conviction.

  • What if I lose my sign-in info? Sign back in with the same method to recover the same trading wallet. For email/social use the same account; for an external wallet reconnect the same wallet.

  • Can I use the same wallet on multiple devices? Yes — sign in with the same method and the same wallet and positions appear as-is.

  • Is it okay to share my address with others? Yes. An address is public information, and no one can move your assets without your signature.
