Quick start
This is the shortest possible walkthrough of the full Conviction flow. The link at the end of each step takes you to a more detailed explanation.
#What you need
- A modern browser (Chrome, Brave, Safari, Edge)
- An email address or a social account (Google / X, etc.) — an external wallet (MetaMask, etc.) also works
- USDT on any chain — it's automatically converted to BSC USDT on deposit
#The 5-step flow
#1. Sign in (~30 sec)
Click Sign In in the top right of conviction.bet and log in.
- If you sign in with an email/social account, a trading wallet is created for you automatically. There's no seed phrase to write down.
- You can also connect with an external wallet (MetaMask, etc.).
For details, see Connect a wallet.
#2. Deposit funds (~1-3 min)
- Wallet menu → Deposit
- Copy the deposit address shown on screen, or scan its QR code.
- Send USDT from any supported chain, and it's automatically converted to BSC USDT and reflected in your balance.
For details, see Deposit funds.
#3. Get ready to trade (one time, ~10 sec)
Before your first trade, a single Approve is required. Press Sign in the trade-start modal and it's handled automatically — no gas required. Once done, you won't be asked again.
#4. First trade (~10 sec)
- Click a market card to open its detail page.
- Choose Yes or No, then pick Buy / Sell and Limit / Market.
- Enter a price (1¢ ~ 99¢) and quantity, and the estimated cost and payout appear instantly.
- Place Order → sign the order once, and you're done.
- Once the order is accepted, the order book and your orders panel update in real time.
Market orders fill immediately, then cancel any remainder (FAK)
A Market order buys only what's fillable in the current order book right away, and any remaining quantity is cancelled immediately. When the book is thin, you may fill at a worse price than expected. For details, see Orders.
#5. Redeem (after the market closes)
Once a market closes and its outcome is finalized:
- 1 winning share → 1 USDT (Redeem button)
- Losing shares go to 0
- Before close, you can also settle your position early by trading with someone else
For details, see Redeem.
